Simpalm Staffing is a nearshore staffing company connecting U.S. businesses with skilled professionals across Latin America. We place virtual assistants, finance specialists, customer support talent, and operations professionals into long-term, meaningful roles with the companies who hire them.

But the part that matters most is why we do it.

Our founder, Vikram Seth, arrived in the United States in 2008. His English was broken. His family back in India couldn't afford to help. He wasn't a star student. He started as a dishwasher.

The people in that kitchen, from El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala: they didn't ask where he was from or what he could offer. They encouraged him. When he told them he wanted to go to school, to one of the best universities in America: they didn't laugh. They said "yes." They said "we want to see ourselves in you."

He made it to Georgetown. Not through a formal process. He walked into the dean's office and asked to be admitted. The dean asked how he could help. Vikram said he wanted to get in.

People he's told that story to still don't believe it. But it happened. The dean saw something. He approved the admission.

But the kitchen taught him something else too: something no business school could have.

He watched how American business owners and Latin American workers moved together. How they communicated, even across language. How they covered for each other, built trust, got things done. Two cultures that, on paper, had every reason to be distant, and in practice, understood each other almost instinctively. The work ethic matched. The loyalty matched. The hustle matched.

Most staffing companies look at a spreadsheet and go where the labor is cheapest. Vikram had seen something different, not a cost arbitrage, but a cultural fit. A natural partnership waiting to be formalized.

He could have gone anywhere. But he had felt something in that kitchen that no spreadsheet could capture: when American businesses and Latin American talent come together, there is a cultural connection that makes the work better. The communication easier. The trust faster. He wasn't willing to trade that for a cheaper rate somewhere with no natural bridge to the people he was trying to serve.

And beyond the fit, there was gratitude. The people from El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Guatemala: they were the ones who believed in him when he had nothing. Starting in LATAM wasn't just a business decision. It was his way of saying gracias. A way to deliver opportunity back to the communities that once handed it to him, and to deliver the very best talent to the people in America who gave him his chance.

That's still the only reason Simpalm Staffing exists in Latin America. Not to find the cheapest labor. To honor the people who made everything else possible.

This is why we call ourselves a purpose-driven staffing company. Not because it sounds good in a pitch. Because when you understand where Vikram started: the kitchen, the encouragement, the dean's office, the gracias: there is no other word for what this is. Every placement we make is connected to that story. Every candidate we represent is a human being with a talent worth seeing. Every client we serve deserves someone who shows up not because it's a transaction, but because it means something.

Purpose-driven isn't our tagline. It's the only way we know how to work.
